The \u201cFun Machine\u201d is a system built and deployed for emcom (Emergency Communications) use. \u00a0The Fun Machine and it\u2019s affiliates believe in promoting use of the system, first for emcom and second for staying in touch, teaching and learning! \u00a0When it\u2019s not being used for emcom\u00a0it\u2019s a regional system giving amateurs the opportunity to stay in touch and discuss anything from the weather to technical topics. \u00a0We can be a bit goofy some times but easily switch to our \u201cserious\u201d face during an incident or event. \u00a0We do allow incoming internet connections except when the system is linked to various local nets or other emcom\u00a0duties as the connects\/disconnects are quite disruptive. \u00a0I ask for a favor from all fun machine users, please be ambassadors to the hobby and the system. \u00a0If you hear a new call sign on the system, don\u2019t hesitate to say \u201chi\u201d and \u201cwelcome\u201d!<\/p>\n
